In the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow praises Beyonce for being absolutely incredible during her Glastonbury festival performance- even at the early stages of her Preganance.

And for all her commitment to green-vegetable juice and the gym, Gwyneth clearly enjoys her social life with a gang of Hollywood friends, including Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife, Susan, and Jay-Z and Beyoncé. As it happens, while Beyoncé was headlining the Glastonbury Festival last June (the night after Coldplay), Gwyneth was watching by the side of the stage with Jay-Z and testifies to the fact that her friend’s performance was punctuated by the miserable side effects of early pregnancy: “She was absolutely incredible, especially as she was barfing in between.”

With around the clock attention for Blue Ivy, Beyonce isn’t taking ANY chances with her daughter’s welfare!

Beyonce wants nothing but the best for her little girl — including a total of six nannies! The 30-year-old has two nannies on call at all times to assure Blue Ivy Carter “has the best of care,” a friend of the singer told In Touch. “Her diaper is changed almost every hour.”

That’s not the only lavish treatment Blue Ivy is receiving. Proud papa Jay-Z ”bought her diamond earrings and a platinum bracelet,” reveals the friend. Blue’s parents even bought her a $600 thousand gold rocking horse!

Beyonce and Jay-Z are putting all other celebrity parents to shame with these first class luxuries for their little princess.

The ‘Young Forever’ singer says he wishes the best for the rapper after the birth of his first child several weeks ago. Mr. Hudson says he can’t wait to meet Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter and wishes the couple congratulations following the birth of their new arrival.

The ‘Supernova’ singer has worked with the ’99 Problems’ rapper several times in the past, most recently on ‘Watch The Throne’ track ‘Why I Love You’.
“I just want to meet the child, you know, already a recording artist at three days old,” the singer told Capital FM’s showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes.

Jay-Z used samples of his newborn daughter’s voice on tribute single ‘Glory’, which was released only several days after her birth on 7^th January.

“I just hope to meet her soon,” he continued. “It’s so cute. Congratulations to them, lots of love.”

The ‘Young Forever’ singer admitted although he had been in contact with Jay-Z since the rapper became a father he still hasn’t sent them a celebratory present.

“That’s a good point, I should do,” Mr Hudson said. “Maybe I’ll wait until I’m over there but that would be a good idea.”

Mr Hudson is currently working on his third studio album.

In recent years, colleges across the country have launched bachelor’s-level courses on celebrities like Lady Gaga and Jay-Z. Now, Beyoncé Knowles is the newest star to be featured in a college course with Rutgers’ Politicizing Beyoncé course. Rutgers’ website reports that the class is taught by Kevin Allred, a doctoral student and lecturer at the school’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. Allred said the course discusses how Beyoncé’s music reflects issues in American race, gender and sexuality. Additionally, students have the chance to put the star’s songs and videos side by side with work from Alice Walker and Sojourner Truth. Rutgers is offering students the chance to study Beyonce in class. Allred Rutgers is offering students the chance to study Beyonce in class. added that while discussing Beyoncé, students are often led into discussions about other artists as well, including Billie Holiday, Lady Gaga, Nina Simone, Adele and Amy Winehouse. Still, this is not the first time a member of the famous Knowles family has appeared in the higher education sector. Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, currently teaches a class called The Recording Industry at Texas Southern University, according to The Huffington Post.

A monument to celebrate the career and success of the singer will be designed by Armdeonce Ventures and an exhibition featuring memorabilia from both her time in Destiny’s Child and as a solo performer will be launched later this year.

The company told My Fox Houston: ”Our biggest thing is a lot of people get honoured when they die, so our goal is to why not honour people why they’re still here? We felt as though it’s her time to be honoured.”

“We wanted to construct, like, a massive hall so as the doors open, if you donated to the monument, you’ll have a separate nameplate.”

“There will be clips of Beyoncé with Destiny’s Child and wardrobe like a mini museum. We’ve gotten support from the city of Houston, from the mayor.”

Although an official date is yet to be confirmed, Armdeonce Ventures hope to unveil the statue and exhibition in September to coincide with Beyoncé’s birthday.

A plan is in the works to build a monument to Beyonce Knowles in Houston, myfoxhouston is reporting.

It’s the idea of entertainer Marcus Mitchell, CEO of Maryland-based Armdeonce Ventures, and his business partner, Steve White, the TV station said.

If these guys get their way, the singing, dancing, “bootylicious” diva could be right back here in Houston for good…

“We wanted to construct, like, a massive hall so as the doors open, if you donated to the monument, you’ll have a separate nameplate,” Marcus said. “There will be clips of Beyonce with Destiny’s Child and wardrobe like a mini museum.”

The pair, who are looking for private donors, would like to unveil the monument on Sept. 4, Beyonce’s birthday, the station reported.

The list boasts six artists, each of whom cracked the business ranking for specific reasons. “We couldn’t weigh the power of an artist’s fanbase against the power an executive has, or this would have simply been an artist list,” says Bill Werde, Billboard’s editorial director. “Our Moneymakers list is our artist list. But certain artists were able to break through to the Power 100 based purely on their business success or innovations.”

On Wednesday and Thursday, another rumor about Beyonce and Jay-Z’s infant daughter blazed the web: That the couple chose pal Oprah Winfrey to be Blue’s godmother.

When asked by Us Weekly about the story, a rep for Beyonce declined to comment. But Winfrey’s BFF Gayle King finally cleared things up Friday morning on CBS’ The Early Show.

“It’s absolutely not true that she’s the godmother,” King explained. “She’s friends with them, of course, and likes them both very much. She’s working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn’t even had time to send a baby gift because she’s been away.”

She added, “Let me just say, if (that report is) true, it is news to her. It is news to her. You know, she was heading to South Africa when the baby was born.”

Before King debunked the story, Kathy Griffin joked about Beyonce’s famous pals. “R u fing kidding me??? Oprah is Blue Ivy’s godmother???” the comedienne tweeted Thursday. “Gwyneth must b PISSED.”

Beyonce, 30, and Jay-Z, 42, are close pals with Gwyneth Paltrow (she was among the first to tweet about Blue’s birth) and well as Winfrey, 57.

Hip hop gossip site MediaTakeOut first reported the supposed news, adding that Jay-Z’s BFF Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith was named godfather.

Blue Ivy was born in NYC on Jan. 7. “She is so beautiful,” Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland recently gushed. The first-time mom has yet to emerge in public since giving birth. [Read More...?]
